Okay What Is V-Mail ?
Well V- Mail stands for Video Email, don’t worry I hadn’t heard of it either…. until recently that is, but I know that this technology will be exploding very soon. We have all heard of You Tube which has been around a few years now and grown tremendously in that time. In that time though commercial businesses such as ours have not used this method to advertise our businesses. Now there is a few reasons for that such as having the you tube logo stuck in the frame and your customers having to click a link on a webpage or email.
Well it’s time to bring video marketing into the 21st century. I have aligned myself with a company which has an awesome array of products, and video mail is just one of them. This is how it works firstly you go and up load all your contacts into the video mail system. These can be uploaded via a csv file and imported and can be 10′s of 1000′s at a time. You are then ready to go.
Once you have opened up the video mail you can not only record a new video right there but also upload videos from your desktop straight into your video library. Now nothing new there…. but here’s where it gets exciting once you have your video you can then place it within a fully customisable template to suit your business. Within that template you can have all your contact details such as your name, phone number, email addresses and even your website address. How cool is that. Now they have hundreds of different templates which you can use for a range of emails, birthday wishes, party invites even holiday messages, could mean the postcard being a thing of the past…
But it’s the commercial aspect that we are looking at today…. so you have your video and template and you are ready to send to your customers, employees or business associates….all you do is select your contact list and press send. Simple….
Okay a question for you are you more likely to to read a 500 word email or listen to a 2-3 minute video mail, well figures show that 70 % of people, that’s your customers, are more likely to watch a video mail than read one. Now Marketing is all about getting your product, company or brand in front of people. Well this is where this product is so awesome when the recipient of the email opens it your template is there right in front of them all they do is click to play. How cool is that.
Now not only does this company have the video mail but also video conferencing and webcasting. Here are a few things your business can use this for, training videos, presentations, corporate advertising for your self and your clients, promotions, instructional videos how to fit your new blind etc, and the list goes on and on. Remember this doesn’t stop here with streaming direct to mobile phones you can now hold a conference call from the golf course if you wish.
