Dealing With An Awful Sponsor…

In the direct marketing /selling business you are almost certain to be promised the earth by everyone who is looking to sign you up in their business, but how often, once you have signed on the dotted line and parted with your well earned cash, that your sponsor disappears into the background.  Most of us have, in the past,  had a sponsor that didn’t deliver on what they promised they would do before you signed up. That, of course, makes it even harder on you, your new to the business, and are getting bombarded with new information valuable to your success in your new venture, that you have to take into the little grey cells before someone asks you a question.

Well what do you do if your sponsor is awful ? The answer is easy – nothing.

Too many new distributors feel that their success depends on the sponsor they have chosen. Your success is completely within you. If your sponsor is helpful, great! If your sponsor is useless, oh well! It doesn’t matter either way.

Your business begins with you down. Concentrate on building your business – customers and reps. Take care of your customers and build your leaders.

Your job one is to put a cash in your pocket by helping many others put a cash in their pockets. Every moment you spend fretting about why your sponsor is useless is a moment you are wasting by not gathering customers, not sponsoring new business partners, and not building your leaders.

Forget your sponsor and get on with it. As long as your sponsor is not interfering with your business, spend no time thinking about them. Find the help you need farther upline or crossline or wherever you have to go to get it rolling and reach your goals.

Fortunately my time in the direct selling business has been brief and my sponsors have been extremely supportive. but remember that you are in control of your destiny, your thoughts are the beginning of your journey and with the right vision you can conquer the world.

Find a Mentor…

Now there is no reason at all why you can’t find a mentor and it doesn’t need to be someone higher up in your company. Look further afield at some of the great motivational speakers and leaders such Dr Denis Waitley, Pat Mestiti , Brian Tracey, Dr Tony Alessandra , Donald Trump , Ted Nicholas , Dan Kennedy , or anybody who is where you want to be. As they say if you want to be successful hang around people that are successful. If you want to be a Millionaire, yep you got it hang around Millionaires.

Invest In Your Future..

Spend money on your education, you never stop learning in life. Attend workshops and seminars, purchase the Cd’s Books and DVD’s and make today the start of your new tomorrow. Once you have purchased your products use them try and give yourself 30 minutes a day of personal development and see where your life goes. I can tell you it will go in the direction of your FOCUS. Make sure your focus is on the same alignment as your thoughts, and you’ll be well on the way.
