2. Make Sure People Know You Exist
It should go without saying, but you WILL FAIL if no one knows you’re there. Marketing is a cut-throat business, and money is a limited commodity. How many other people do you think there are who’re competing for your slice of the fiduciary pie? Do what you have do to make an impression.
3. Network Like Crazy
One person is just that: One person. When you network with other like-minded people, you multiply your efforts exponentially, and trust us, that’s a good thing.
4. Go the Extra Mile
How many times have you been involved in a business transaction where, once you’d parted with your money, you were just another face in the crowd? That’s not good business. If you want customers – repeat customers – you need to put forth the effort. It doesn’t have to be huge; just some little touch that lets your clientele know you value them as more than walking pocket books is enough.
5. NEVER QUIT!!
This one is simple. There will be times when you feel like throwing in the towel. Don’t! Sure, it’s nice to be able to say “This isn’t working”, but the corollary to that is “Let’s find something else that will!”
