Who am I ….?

Thanks for visiting my site. I look forward to learning more about you shortly, In the meantime lets tell you a bit about me. My name is Martin Burt and I live on the south coast in the United Kingdom with my wife. We have been married for 23 years and have two great children or young adults now being 17 and 19 respectively. I now work from home full time and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle….

A Very Brief History…. !

I have worked for myself in various businesses over the last 20 years taking over one from the brink of administration to selling it for a healthy profit just 18 months later. I have experience in running businesses associated in different areas such as retail and commercial property, service providers working with the British Government, retail and online sales, and confectionery and catering.

In April 2009 I was fortunate to sell my main business at that time and took 4 months off. Well okay I worked when I wanted too. During this time I was able to gather my thoughts, and decided to use my knowledge to aid others achieve.

So in August 2009 I set up a company called Fast Business Association which is designed to help businesses and people wishing to start out on their own. As part of FBA I have introduced this website to assist me, which finally launched in March 2010. You can take a look at FBA at http://www.fbauk.com .

At Fast Business Association we have a business forum where you are free to promote your business and get great help and advice. Also check out our Social Media packages which are aimed at helping struggling companies and individuals gain a better presence online.

In 2010, after using various social media sites, myself and two business partners, launched a new social media site called Sonar247 (SOcial Networking ARena) 24/7 which is designed to make everyones networking and marketing online far easier and time consuming….. you can check it out here http://www.sonar247.com and don’t worry membership is totally FREE.

My Mission……

My mission has always been to help others live the lives of their choice…… and now with both FBA and Sonar247 I am able to help both individuals and businesses like yourself…. I just love taking people by the hand and leading them to success. If you would like me to be part of your success story just get in touch….. No one ever made it on there own they always had a team a round them. I am now lucky to have an awesome team around me and have no doubts at all that my life is now heading only one way and that’s up….

What I Do To Relax..

Myself completing the Great South Run in the pouring rain and wind and this is enjoyable ....

If you play Golf, then I’m always up for a game. I don’t get out as much as I should and the handicap is suffering because of this… playing off a handicapp of 19.5 at the moment….. I need to play more often !!

I like to keep fit at the gym and run about 3 times a week, entering various races a long the way such as The Great North Run, The Great South Run and eventually a marathon one day before the legs give way…. Although my playing days are over, football is still a passion but watching is as far as that goes now.

I help at the local boys club on a weekly basis which was the same one I joined at the age of 9 til I was 16…. it’s so rewarding giving something back.

I love to be around positive people that have a vision of where they want to be. I am always reading books or watching DVD’s that help me improve myself and my life….. You never stop learning ! Some of my favourites are Pat Mesiti, Deepak Chopra, Ed Foreman, Dr Denis Waitley, Robert Kiyosaki and Tim Sales to name just a few….
